Our Lady of Perpetual Help Women’s Guild #33 and Nicole Thomas Photography are celebrating our 19th Annual OLPH Charity Photo Sessions. In the last eighteen years, we have raised over $57,325.00 for Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Please join us in making this year our best year yet!
PHOTO SESSION DATES: We have many dates to choose from this year including Saturday, October 12, 2024, and Saturday, November 30, 2024 as well as many others. Often times if we find we have an opening in our regular mini session schedule we will offer other dates. Scroll down the page for our available times. PHOTO SESSION LOCATION: Our main dates (listed above) will take place in Wilmette at The Keay Nature Center. Additional dates may take place at other locations.

PREFER TO DONATE BY CHECK
If you prefer to donate by check you may stop by our studio. Checks are payable to: The Women's Club of OLPH Guild #33. Our studio is located at 1942 Lehigh Ave, Suite D / Glenview IL 60026. We are open Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm. Our studio hours on Saturdays vary, as we are often shooting on-location. If you would like to stop by during non-business hours, we have a mail slot next to our front door where you can drop your check.

LENGTH OF PHOTO SESSION
We offer three different session lengths depending on your needs. Choose between a 20 minute shoot ($150 donation), a 40 minute shoot ($225 donation) or a 60 minute shoot ($300 donation). Although certain dates and location may only offer specific time intervals due to scheduling and the location layout.
Twenty minutes goes by very quickly. We encourage you to book a 40 or 60 minute session, especially if you have multiple children and/or a dog. If you have an extended family group or a large number of folks, please choose a 60 minute session.
CAN WE BRING OUR DOG?
If you would like to bring your dog(s), please give us a heads up. The following locations that we often shoot at are dog friendly: Nicole Thomas Photography Studio, Gallery Park, The Keay Nature Center and Village Green. Rosewood is dog friendly in the woods and park area. The beach area does not allow dogs.

100% of your session fee goes directly to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
What is the donation for a Mini Session?
Twenty minute photo session: $150 donation to OLPH
Forty minute photo session: $225 donation to OLPH
Sixty minute photo session: $300 donation to OLPH
This is a non-refundable donation to OLPH. In comparison, our regular Mini Session rate is $295 for a twenty five minute session and $350 for a double (fifty minute) Mini Session.
How does a Mini Session differ from a regular photo session?
Our charity mini sessions for OLPH are twenty, forty or sixty minutes in length on a specific date at a specific location. Our regular sessions can be booked any day of the week at any location. If you are interested in booking a regular session, please contact us.
When does sign-up start for these Mini Sessions?
Sign-up now! Go the the “Buy Now” link above and sign up. The earlier you sign up, the more likely you are to get your desired time slot and shoot date.
Are these photo sessions open to anyone?
These charity mini photo sessions are intended for Our Lady of Perpetual Help parishioners or by invitation from OLPH Women's Guild #33 members.
Nicole Thomas Photography does offer Mini Sessions at various times of the year. Please note that our regular mini session fee is priced higher and varies in length slightly from our OLPH Charity Mini Sessions.
What if I am unable to make my scheduled date and time?
Please notify us immediately if you are having a conflict with your scheduled time, we will attempt to reschedule you to another time or date. If we are able to reschedule, there will be a $50 fee. Remember the session fee is a 100% donation to OLPH and therefor it is not refundable.
AFTER THE SHOOT
What happens next?
About a week after your photo shoot, you will receive an email notifying you that your images are ready for viewing. A link will be provided in an email which will enable you to view your images online. We highly encourage you to come to our studio for an ordering session, where we can help you choose the best images and find the purchasing options and packages that work best for you.

When you purchase a digital package, the images are yours to use online and on social media, you can print your images, and even share them with others. All images are delivered to you retouched and in high-resolution. A complimentary 4x6” print of each image is included with all digital packages. PREPARING FOR THE SHOOT: TIPS
What to wear?
Select clothing that’s vibrant and fun! Jewel-toned colors are complimentary on every complexion and look beautiful in photographs. Choose colors that are deep, rich and intense like burgundy, eggplant, teal and magenta. Try pairing these colors with neutrals like charcoal gray, navy, and tan. Avoid black and white as they do not photograph well. Denim can also act as a neutral.
Avoid dressing the family in matching “uniforms”. Coordinated looks for families create a much more pleasing photograph. Try choosing a unifying color mixed with the neutrals listed above in various ways to mix things up, but still give your family continuity.
Use patterns, textures and layers to add visual interest. Textured fabrics, such as corduroy, tweed, herringbone, cashmere, wool or chambray, have great texture and are excellent choices.
Layers can be added and removed to create different looks in minimal time.
When it comes to jeans, opt for the darkest indigo wash. These tend to be the most flattering and timeless. Also, avoid contrasting colors, like adults in navy blue shirts and kids in light blue.
Most importantly, we want everyone to be comfortable in their attire. Make sure each member of the family tries on their outfit before the day of the shoot. Clothing that is too big will appear that way in the images. Everyone should be in clothing that they look and feel good in on the day of the shoot.
